Travel Information

By Air:

Although New Zealand is down under, Auckland is very well connected to international centres. The following airlines have regularly scheduled service to Auckland International Airport:

• Air New Zealand;
• Qantas;
• Singapore Airlines;
• Cathay Pacific;
• Emirates;
• Malaysia Airlines;
• Thai International;
• Korean Air;
• Air Pacific;
• Lufthansa (4 days per week);
• Royal Brunei (4 days per week);
• Garuda Indonesia (with 2 flights per week); and
• Aerolineas Argentinas (with 2 flights per week).

Auckland International Airport is located 25 km southwest of downtown Auckland. Transport options from Auckland International Airport include:

• Taxis, which take 30-40 minutes depending on traffic;
• Shuttles which are shared by a number of passengers and drop you at your destination taking about 40-60 minutes; and
• Buses that depart every 20 minutes during the day, and every 30 minutes at night, and take about 60 minutes.
